I’m André, the person behind Woof & Whiskers. This project brings together practical dog-care guides, printable checklists and product research for people learning life with a new dog.

The aim is to give you a clear next step, whether that means writing better sitter instructions or deciding you do not need another accessory. I do not present myself as a veterinarian or claim personal product testing that has not happened.

Our Pinterest pins are a starting point. The articles add complete steps, examples and comparisons so you can use the advice without a purchase. Downloads are optional tools for keeping details organized.

How we choose products

We start with a specific need and explain a no-purchase option where practical. Manufacturer specifications are distinct from hands-on experience. We do not invent testing, star ratings, sales figures or rankings.

Check each product’s current size, seller, label and instructions. A recommendation may not suit your dog, and food or health decisions may need your veterinarian’s guidance.

Sources, updates and limits

We link to relevant veterinary, public-safety and manufacturer information near the advice it supports. Articles are general education, not diagnoses or individualized treatment plans. We do not claim veterinary review.

We revise content when a source, product or practical instruction needs correction, and show article update dates for substantive changes.
